Steamboat, CO is an amazing town, whether you are enjoying
it in the summer or winter, this holds true. There are so many great activities
it is always hard to decide how to fill your days. During my most recent visit this past August, I spent 5 days
hiking, hot air balloon ride, rock climbing, and mountain biking. And of course eating good food!
If you ever decide to go in the summer, I highly recommend
doing a climb with Rocky Mountain Ventures. Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate looking to gain
some technical skills, or an advanced climber needing a partner or guide, Rocky Mountain Ventures, owned by Patrick Meyer is the place to go. They have a dozen
or so prime climb locations (in gorgeous natural settings) they can access
depending on skill level. They are
a ton of fun, safe, knowledgeable, and will having you back for more. Contact
them at 970-870-8440 . You will not be disappointed. Patrick also guided me with Steamboat Powdercats. He's my favorite guide in The Boat!!! I can't wait to try ice climbing this winter with him!
